It was a white Christmas in Elko. 4 inches of snow throughout the night ended midday. Very nice.

WeHo Halloween

Halloween night Elon, Joey and I went to the big WeHo Street Costume Fest they have every year. 300,000+ people, it's totally crazy and also totally worth going. Tons of costumes and tons of people. It's very fun. Check out more pics in my Web Gallery.

Sunday we went to Oak Glen, CA. It's a group of Apple Orchard fruit stand type places all along a glen (valley).

Ocean Drive

Digging back in the iPhoto archive today, here are some pics of Joey and I from a drive we did over the mountains behind Malibu April 2005.

Random road trips are one of my favorite things to do. Jump in the car and start driving. No destination or plan, except to find and explore somewhere new. It's a great way to get acquainted with a new area.

We started this drive in NoHo, then the 101 to Calabasas and the over the Mountain to Malibu. There are some crazy houses on the side of the mountain up there, just waiting for an earthquake to slide off into the ocean.
