I love them krispies

More of my love of the rice krispies treat. Pictured here with the basic square from Disneyland. (L to R) Aprille with pumpkin, me with square, and Jessica with Candy Corn.

Earl of Sandwich

One of the best places to eat at Walt Disney World is the Earl of Sandwich. They have been working on franchising the idea and a year ago one opened in Valencia which is about 25 mins from were we live. We had to go get some sandwiches tonight, mmm the craving. Totally awesome and totally worth a short drive up the 5.

Check them out next time you happen to be in Valencia (Magic Mountain Area) or driving by. Love the Original and the Beef n' Bleu both rock.

Today at Disneyland I was talking with new friends Rudy and Jessica along with Aprille about Disney rice crispy treats. Disneyland has a square which is great, but if you want the mother of all crispy treats...

This Mickey is from Walt Disney World, runs around 10.99 and took me 2 full days to eat. MMM crispy goodness. The pic below is about 3 hrs into it.

Just my average, everyday meal

Yum, yum. BBQ is one of my favorite food groups. Those ribs and beef brisket were totally awesome.

Joey and I did share this by the way. I'm not really that big of a piggy.

And the location: Dave's Famous BBQ in the lovely Mall of America. My first visit to both places, but hopefully not my last. Joe and I spent an entire day at the Mall of America and didn't even have time to go on any of the rides. That place is huge.

Philly Cheese Steak

Which is better? The age old question anyone who is from or visits Philadelphia. Geno's or Pats? They both make Cheese Steak Sandwichs, both are directly across the street from each other in South Philly, both are window service with outdoor dining areas, both claim to be the first Philadelphia Cheese Steak location in the world. But who is really better...

Well, actually both. Geno's has a better overall Cheese Steak, but Pat's has awesome Cheese Fries. Luckily you don't have to pick, you can have both since they are so close to each other.

Next time you are in the city of Brotherly Love, stop having the love for the brothers long enough to check out these two classic American food destinations for yourself.
